The charm is made in 18k rose gold, despite its delicacy, is very strong. The thread is made of nylon, strong and durable there is no need to remove if you are showering swimming gardening cleaning etc. With time the color might change. Please remove the bracelet in case of going for a massage that includes using oil or applying body oil in that case the color might change quickly.
