Savannah Stranger
Focusing on untreated Tahitian pearls, raw diamonds and recycled gold, Savannah Stranger jewelry demonstrates a freedom of expression, an organic feel that is inspired by nature.
Savannah Stranger’s interest in pearls began somewhat unexpectedly during a trip to Tahiti when she was seventeen. Fascinated by the traditions of pearl cultivation and local craftsmanship, she spent seven consecutive summers in Tahiti, immersing herself in the culture, growth, selection, combination and valuation of the gems.
Stranger’s unique approach to expression with pearls was also developed while gaining her BA in photography at Bard College and Jewelry Design degree from GIA. With a refined understanding of color and composition, she designed strands sold at retailers including David Yurman, Tiffany, and Mikimoto while designing for Pacific Perles. She continued her career with Dora Fourcade Designs until departing to launch her eponymous line.
