Welcome to Studio H29, our in-store studio. Think a new piercing, your favorite Emi Jay brush or clip engraved just for you or someone special, or a little ink with a lot of meaning. Come with an idea, or let’s dream something up together.
Find us in the back of our Chappaqua boutique, open weekly by private appointment. Every visit is one-on-one and unhurried, with time to get every little detail just right.

Luxury Ear Piercing
Our head piercer, Mickeda Frankie, brings more than 20 years of professional experience to every appointment. We pierce only with single-use sterile needles and offer yellow, white, and rose gold. Together we'll choose the earring and the placement that suit your ears, your style, and your life.
No charge to book. Pricing depends on the jewelry you choose. Your piercing is complimentary with the purchase of a fine jewelry earring.
Emi Jay Engraving & Gold Leaf
Make your Emi Jay entirely yours. Choose a clip or brush from our collection, then sit down with our artist to add hand engraving and gold leaf detail. The result is one-of-a-kind, for you or for someone you love.
No charge to book. You must purchase an Emi Jay clip or brush. Personalization is available for an additional fee. We always try to finish during your appointment. Some pieces take 1–2 weeks, so if you need yours by a certain date, just let us know.
Fine Line & Tiny Tattoos
Delicate, precise, and completely personal. You'll work one-on-one with our tattoo artist to design a fine line or tiny tattoo that feels like you, and every piece starts with a conversation.
Begin with a complimentary 30-minute consultation. From there, we'll schedule your tattoo session based on your design. Pricing is customized to your artwork. A deposit link secures your session, and your booking is confirmed once the deposit is received.
Luxury Ear Piercing
We offer luxury ear piercing by appointment and at our parties and pop up events.
Our piercer, Mickeda Frankie, has over 20 years of professional piercing experience, offering our clients a caring and meticulous ear piercing experience.
Why needle piercing?
Needles are gentler on the ear. They cause less trauma and support faster, cleaner healing. Piercing guns use blunt force, which can lead to pain, swelling, scarring, and piercings that heal poorly or sit crooked. That's why we use single-use sterile needles only.
Negative experience with a piercing gun?
Let us assess your piercings and see how we can possibly re-pierce and re-curate your ears. Mickeda always finds a creative way to turn a negative gun piercing experience into a super positive needle piercing by re-styling those lobes and finding the best new placements possible. We have literally had clients who tell us that we have changed their lives after they thought they could never wear earrings after a negative gun piercing experience.
We will walk you through the entire process from assessing your overall style and lifestyle, assisting in selecting new earrings that best compliment you, and finding the placement that best suits you and your lobes. We may even take you out of your comfort zone a bit. And chances are...once you get one piercing, you’ll keep wanting more.
What To Expect During Your Appointment
1. Welcome & Introduction: Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by Sarah, who will guide you through the entire process. You can discuss any questions or concerns you might have.
2. Jewelry Selection & Disinfection: Sarah will present a variety of jewelry options suitable for you or your child. The chosen jewelry will be thoroughly disinfected before the procedure.
3. Consultation & Assessment: Our piercer, Mickeda, will assess your or your child's ear anatomy and shape to determine the best placement for the piercing. Together, you'll decide on the ideal position for the piercing.
4. Piercing Process: Once the placement is confirmed, the piercing process begins. Controlled breathing techniques will help ease any discomfort. The procedure is swift and performed efficiently, ensuring a beautiful outcome.
5. Aftercare Guidance: Sarah and Mickeda will provide detailed aftercare instructions, offering a printed guide for reference. You'll receive ongoing support and guidance from Mickeda throughout the healing process. Should any questions arise during the healing period, you can always reach out for assistance.
