when there is a need, there is a want. that is what co-founders Lisa Hickey & Jen Menchaca thought about the t-shirt business. "we are t-shirt girls. we wear jeans and tees everyday." Jen Menchaca, co-founder. the brand focuses on essentials that are made from quality fabrics that are milled in california. founded in 2020, two friends and colleagues identified something was missing in the industry. "we knew there was a hole and an opportunity. we wanted to create a t-shirt brand that was available all year round so customers could restock their favorites. we started with 7 styles. 3 of them are still our top sellers to this day." together, the pair has more than 30 years of experience in the fashion industry. Jen previously founded a thriving t-shirt brand in the women’s contemporary market and Lisa owns a multi-line NYC showroom in this category, as well as three retail locations selling women’s upscale casual basics.

perfectwhitetee was launched on what we thought was the perfect debut date: national white t-shirt day, February 11, 2020. 

today, their woman owned business little company is growing by the minute, and we are all so grateful. we’ve found so much joy in designing thoughtfully manufactured, high-quality products that are made to be lived in. our love for tees and wardrobe builders comes through in every style we offer and we can’t wait to see what’s next for perfectwhitetee.
